Someday, we will all face the most terrible, heartbreaking, soul crushing situation we've ever faced and face it we must. In the past, perhaps we went around it, with the help of chemical or alcoholic means. But this only postpones it for a future replay. When you realize you must go through this terrible thing, I hope you do so with your soul wide open and laid bare. After a while, you will notice underneath the pain, there's something divine and beautiful coming through. You have made it through to the other side and you realize you would have missed this encounter with the divine, without experiencing that pain that cracked your soul open. It's never pleasant, you will weep and rage and hurt, but it comes with a gift, if you're willing to accept it, as such. Don't judge, don't compare. This is how we grow, how we become bigger and better than we were before.
