As a gross over thinker I appreciate the concept of allowing the crystal clear waters to wash over the monkey mind.

That is my prayer … over and over as I find myself opening to a mental and spiritual balance I have long pushed past in my drive to ‘get things done’ 🙏❤️

Well, if I already saw/realized that I am different than the busyness of the mind (saw/realized it because I am able to say that the mind is busy, able to notice it and be aware of it, which naturally means that it is not me, that it not identical to me who is noticing it), if that has already happened, then it seems like I (this aware noticing apparatus, which is different than the mind) am already swimming in the clear waters, that i (the noticing apparatus) am already made of the living waters, no?

Of course I (the conscious noticing apparatus) might forget that i am already swimming in/existing as the living waters, because i (the noticing apparatus) often get sucked into viscerally IDENTIFYING with the stories and drama of the busy mind. But that identification with the stories of the mind doesn't seem to change the fact that I (the aware noticing apparatus) am already immersed in the still waters (and noticing the mind from within the still clarity), that I am already MADE OF the clear waters..

Or so it seems to something here :-)
