My father was a philosopher/cobbler and gave me much of his wisdom during my upbringing. I have saved lots of his quotes but this one struck me today:
"If you are given an opportunity to improve yourself - say YES immediately". If I hesitate then I will find all the reasons not to do it. He went on to say that EVERYONE is presented with a plethora of opportunities each day but they see them as '"problems". I have since discovered that angels walk with me.
"For He will give His angels a command concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. They will carry you on their hands, so that you may not strike your foot against a stone. On the young lion and the cobra you will tread; you will trample underfoot the maned lion and the big snake. God said: “Because he has affection for me, I will rescue him." [Psalm 91:11-14].
