your words spark helpful talk between her and me…. she said, “I’m just a lump of coal… but I’ll be a diamond someday”… I said, “We agreed that harboring negative images of ourselves is not helpful…. I say you are already a diamond…. All the pressure of your life has turned you into a sparkler”….
